Job Title: Janitor

Pay Rate: $16/hr.

Shift: 8:30 AM - 5 PM

Benefits: Medical, Dental, AD&D, PSL

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Janitor to maintain cleanliness and safety throughout our distribution center. This role is essential to ensuring a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment for employees, visitors, and operations.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, offices, and common areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and scrub floors throughout the facility
• Empty trash and recycling containers and dispose of waste properly
• Clean windows, walls, doors, and other surfaces as needed
• Refill restroom and breakroom supplies (soap, paper towels, toilet paper, etc.)
• Maintain cleanliness in warehouse areas, including walkways and workstations
• Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals properly
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply needs to management
• Operate basic janitorial equipment such as floor scrubbers, vacuums, and mops
• Perform additional cleaning duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Knowledge of cleaning supplies and safety practices is a plus

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

• Distribution center/warehouse environment
• Standing and walking for extended periods
• Exposure to dust, noise, and cleaning chemicals
